1. Câu hỏi với How much, How many, How often :
a) "How much" (bao nhiêu)
• "How much" được dùng để đặt câu hỏi với danh từ không đếm được.
- How much sugar is there in the box? (Trong hộp có bao nhiêu đường?)
- How much water is there in the bottle? (Trong chai có bao nhiêu nước?)
• "How much" được dùng để đặt câu hỏi về giá cả
- How much is this picture? (Bức tranh này giá bao nhiêu?)
- It's 200 USD. (Giá 200 đô la Mĩ).
b) How many (bao nhiêu)
• "How many" được dùng để đặt câu hỏi với danh từ đếm được ở số nhiều.
How many pens do you have? (Bạn có bao nhiêu cái bút?)
How many notebooks docs she have? (Cô ấy có bao nhiêu quyển vở?)
c) "How often" (bao lâu):
• Dùng để đặt câu hỏi về mức độ thường xuyên làm một việc gì đó.
• Để trả lời cho câu hỏi này, ta thường dùng các trạng từ chỉ tần suất như: usually (thường xuyên), often (thường), occasionally (thỉnh thoảng), rarely (ít khi), never (không bao giờ), always (luôn luôn)... và đặt sau chủ ngữ. 
- How often do you go to English club?
(Bạn thường đến câu lạc bộ tiếng Anh không?)
- I go to English club twice a week. (Tôi đến câu lạc bộ tiếng Anh 2 buổi một tuần.)
- How often docs she go to her grandparents' house?
(Cô ấy có thường đến nhà ông bà không?)
- She usually goes to their house. (Có ấy thường xuyên đến nhà ông bà.)
2. Câu hỏi miêu tả: "What... like?" (như thế nào)
• "What... like" dùng để miêu tả người hoặc vật
What +  + S + like ?
- What is the weather like? (Thời tiết như thế nào?)
- It's sunny. (Trời nắng.)
- What are these cities like? (Các thành phố đó như thế nào?)
- They are very big and exciting. (Các thành phố đó rất lớn và sôi động).
3. Đại từ "It"
• "It" không chỉ là đại từ nhân xưng mà còn là đại từ vô nhân xưng thường được dùng để chỉ các hiện tượng tự nhiên như thời tiết, thời gian hay khoảng cách.
- It's sunny. (Trời nắng.)
- It is 10 a.m now. (Bây giờ là mười giờ sáng.)
- It's 5 kilometres from my house to Peter's house.
(Từ nhà tôi đến nhà của Peter là 5 km.)
